My Story
Hi, I'm Andrew! I'm a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 6 years of experience and have helped thousands of patients at this point, and at least 200-300 specifically with tendon related pain, especially at the knee.
This interest was built in me over the years by overcoming my own patellar and quad tendon pain (multiple times lol) over a period of a 4-5 years. I fell in love with sports performance and increasing my outputs in the gym. I built a squat over 400 lbs, ran a 40 yd dash at 4.7 and built a vertical in the mid 30s (not bad for a less gifted athlete like myself).
In my training, though, I couldn't figure out why I struggled to keep my knees healthy. Every time I would start making progress in the gym, my knee pain kept coming back, and I was stuck in a cycle of pain constantly limiting how much progress I could make. No matter what I did or tried to do, I just couldn't break out of that pain cycle. Through countless hours of research and trial & error (plus a doctoral level education), I finally cracked the code, and at 30 yrs old, my knees feel better now than they ever did in my 20s.
Everything I've learned in the last 6-7 years of rehabbing tendon injuries is brought straight to you in this program, without you having to do all the guess work like I did.
That's exactly why this program exists. I built the Knee Tendon Protocol to be the resource I wish I'd had — a clear, structured path instead of years of guessing, failed rest cycles, and generic advice that never actually fixed the problem. You don't need to spend years wasting time, trial-and-erroring your way through this like I did. Whatever your knee has been holding you back from — running, lifting, jumping, or just living without thinking about it — let's get you there.

Is This Right for You?
This program is for you if:
You've been suffering with knee pain (patellar, quad, or other tendon-related) for weeks or months that just won't fully go away
You've tried rest, stretching, or a few generic PT visits and the pain always creeps back once you're active again
You're a runner, jumper, lifter, or field/court athlete and you're modifying or skipping activity because of your knee
You've been told to "just rest it" or "just strengthen it" but nothing has actually changed your knee's ability to handle high level activities
You want a real plan with a real timeline — not just open-ended sessions with no clear endpoint
Is This NOT Right for You?
This program may not be the right fit for you if:
Your knee pain just started 2 days ago — you likely just need some easy activity modifications first
You're looking for a quick fix with minimal effort on your end between sessions — this program requires following your loading program consistently
You're not able to commit to the program length (8–16 weeks depending on severity) — tendons need time to remodel, and rushing the process usually backfires
Your knee pain is from an acute injury (recent trauma, suspected tear, or ligament injury) rather than gradual-onset tendon pain — that needs a different evaluation path first — which we still can provide, just not in this program
Why Tendinopathy Needs a Different Approach
Tendons don't respond to rest the way muscles or joints do — under-loading them is often just as much of a problem as overloading them. Getting a tendon truly durable again requires a specific, progressive loading strategy over several weeks, not a handful of generic stretch-and-strengthen sessions.
That's why this isn't a package of visits or traditional physical therapy — it's a structured program with a clear beginning, a defined progression, tangible markers to hit along the way, and a real endpoint.
Every step of that progression is measured with objective testing — not guesswork — so you always know exactly where you stand.
The Program Pathway
Phase 1: Assess & Densensitize
(Weeks 1–3) Comprehensive eval, baseline strength, load, and functional testing, pain and tendon-load scoring (VISA-P/PSPF Forms), and an isometric loading protocol to start reducing pain without losing capacity.
Phase 2: Build Tendon Capacity & Tolerance
(Weeks 4–8) Progressive strengthening (isotonic and heavy-slow-resistance loading), addressing the movement, strength, and mobility deficits that got you here in the first place.
Phase 3: Return to Full Activity
(Weeks 9–12+) Plyometric and sport/activity-specific reloading, final strength and functional retesting, and a clear discharge plan so you know your knee can handle what you're asking of it.
Note: each phase also has specific KPI's in the program to pass to move forward into the next phase

Why Invest Money into This Program?
It's fair to look at this investment and want context. Here's how it stacks up against the alternatives most people try first:
Generic insurance PT: 15–20 visits over several months with base level/general providers, plus copays each time, often with 15 minutes of actual 1-on-1 time per visit — and no guarantee the plan changes as you progress, or that you progress at all.
Continuing to "manage" it yourself: Months (or years) of modifying your activity, missing training blocks, sitting out sports or activitiesyou care about — with no plan to actually resolve it.
Waiting until it gets bad enough for imaging, specialist visits, or a surgical consult: Often costs more out of pocket than this program, and comes with real downtime.
Think of the amount of money wasted between doctors visits, MRI's, copays, months of subpar PT treatment — easily $5,000-$10,000 plus — let alone the time that you can't get back.
This program is priced as one investment in actually solving the problem — not managing it indefinitely.
The Difference Between This Program and Basic Physical Therapy
The Elevate Difference
Generic PT
Visits per week: 1x, freeing up more time in your schedule for everything else in your life
1-on-1 with a tendinopathy expert the entirety of each follow up session, no exceptions
Real, clear, tangible path and goals to track toward program completion
Comprehensive & custom exercise programming delivered in app to be completed between sessions
Clear objective testing at every phase, so you know exactly where you stand
Unlimited access to your PT for questions/concerns/adjustments between sessions
Visits per week: 2-3x, constantly managing your schedule and living life around PT
15 min with a general PT, then passed to student aides or stuck doing basic exercises by yourself
"We'll see how things go" - no clear path, no clear timeline, no clear answers for how to solve it
A sheet with 3 basic exercises that never get updated or progressed
Subjective "how does it feel today?" check-ins with no measurable benchmarks
No opportunities for questions or adjustments between sessions
The bottom line: You save time during the week, you get more expert and specialized care, and you don't just get better; you STAY better after program completion, and get back to what you love stronger & more durable than ever before.
Our Promise to You:
You'll Always Know You're Progressing
You're not just hoping this works — you'll see it. Every patient is tracked with objective outcome scoring measures and functional/strength testing at the start of the program, between phases, and at completion, so progress is tangibly measured, not just assumed.
If you are completing the program as intended & still not seeing measurable improvement in your outcome scores by the end of Phase 1, we'll reassess and adjust your program at no additional cost. This program is built around your response to treatment, not a rigid script.
After my surgery, I was nervous to start moving again. Andrew has been so thorough in my rehab there's nothing I worry about my knee being able to handle. 20 stars.

What Patients are Saying:
FAQs
Do You Accept HSA/FSA for this Program?
Yes — through utilizing Everfit, this program is HSA eligible.
Can I Do a Payment Plan?
Yes — we offer installment options so you can spread the investment over the length of your program rather than paying it all upfront.
How is this different from just booking regular sessions?
Regular sessions are billed one at a time with no built-in structure or endpoint. This program bundles your full care pathway — evaluation, progressive programming, progress check-ins, and a final reassessment — into one plan built specifically around resolving your tendinopathy for good.
What if I'm not sure which option (online vs. hybrid) is right for me?
That's exactly what the free discovery call is for — we'll talk through your knee, your goals, and your schedule, and help you pick the format that fits.
How do you know if I'm ready to move to the next phase, or when I'm done?
Every phase has clear, objective benchmarks compared to your uninvolved leg. You'll never be guessing whether you're progressing; you'll see the numbers at each checkpoint, and discharge only happens once you hit full symmetry and functional benchmarks, not just when you "feel better."
